The position targets engineers with 3+ years of experience in performance engineering, strong C++ skills, and experience with profiling tools like Linux perf or Intel VTune. B2B rate offered, hybrid onsite in Porto, Lisbon, or Fundão.

Qualificações

• Strong C++ programming skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Intel x86 architecture.
• Proven experience with software performance analysis and optimization.
• Hands-on experience using profiling tools such as Linux perf and/or Intel VTune.
• English B2+ or higher with professional written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and optimize performance of a complex, high‑performance database environment across processor architectures.
• Identify optimization opportunities for Intel x86.
• Analyze CPU-level bottlenecks and compare results across hardware platforms.
• Develop PoCs and extend internal performance analysis tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and hardware teams to improve efficiency.
