Omilia is seeking a Senior C/C++ Engineer to join its product engineering team, building high-performance systems for telephony-enabled AI platforms. You will work on concurrent, low-latency components and integrate with Asterisk-based modules, SIP signaling, and dialplan engineering.

You will mentor and collaborate across engineering and cross-functional teams, with opportunities to grow into deeper telephony specialization as you contribute to scalable, secure, and robust production systems.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional C/C++ systems programming.
• Experience with Git and C/C++ build systems (CMake/Meson).
• Hands-on Asterisk modification and deployment.
• Experience building APIs / microservices in C/C++.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns (OOAD).
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own the design, development, and ongoing support of performance-critical C/C++ components across Omilia's platform.
• Own resolution of scalability and performance issues affecting telephony and SIP systems.
• Ensure effective time management and delivery against deadlines.
• Contribute as an integrated, collaborative team member across engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain C/C++ components with emphasis on performance and concurrency.
• Develop efficient applications for high availability and performance.
• Debug multi-threaded low-level issues using gdb, valgrind, or strace.
• Develop and maintain Asterisk modules (res_, chan_, app_*) for call handling and routing.
• Patch, rebuild, and validate Asterisk core and modules against advisories and hardening requirements.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
• Develop with security in mind and scale services with a DevOps mindset.
• Meet regularly with line manager to review progress and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure clear information flow and teamwork.
• Support organizational priorities as an Omilia ambassador.
