PrimeIT in Lisbon is seeking a Business Analyst to join a hybrid team on our Lisbon project. You will gather and translate stakeholder requirements into functional specs, maintain documentation, and support testing and demos.

The ideal candidate has strong data-analysis skills, experience with ETL-related data flows, and proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. English proficiency is mandatory for collaboration across teams.

We are looking for a Business Analyst for this project!

What are we looking for?

Main Tasks

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria, data-model diagrams).
• Create and maintain documentation (requirements catalog, data dictionary, process maps, test plans).
• Facilitate test planning by participating in design test cases
• Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders through sprint demos, status reports and reviews
• Identify improvement opportunities in the transversal framework, propose enhancements
• Collaborate with the ETL development team to design optimal data-flow and transformation logic
• Define, implement, and maintain the data-quality framework (rules, thresholds, validation checks)

Technical skills

• Agile Project-Management Tools - Manage backlogs, user stories, and traceability in Jira or Azure DevOps; ensure requirements are linked to test cases and delivery artifacts.
• Data Analysis & Visualization - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), statistical summarization, and create visual insights (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) to support requirement-gathering and decision-making.
• Data-Quality & Profiling Techniques - Use data-profiling methods to define validation rules, cleansing procedures, and quality-metric dashboards.

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon (Portugal)

Language: English is mandatory

Salary Package & Benefits: €1,200 to €2,000 (salary base) + Food Allowance + Flex Benefits
