Riskified's Lisbon-based backend team is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help design scalable architectures and build FinTech-grade services. You’ll work in an Agile setting, own features from planning to deployment, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver impact.

You’ll deploy daily to production, mentor peers, and ensure clean, SOLID code using Scala/Java, SQL/NoSQL, and modern cloud tools (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualificações

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of hands-on server-side coding experience.
• Self-directed learner with a habit of improving software.
• Commitment to clean, SOLID code and resilient systems.
• Proficiency in Scala/Java and related ecosystems.
• Solid experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with streaming apps is a plus.
• Experience mentoring fellow developers and collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop highly scalable architectures for ML systems and platforms.
• Work across real-time and batch jobs using Scala/Node.js and technologies like Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Perform daily code deployments to production using CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to end-to-end development of Riskified's core products and features.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ideate and implement new capabilities across the platform.
