Siemens is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain AWS-based web applications and microservices using C# and Golang. You will optimize performance, ensure security, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe.

The role requires 7+ years of industry experience, strong OO skills, and hands-on work with AI-native software engineering, databases, and AWS services. Hybrid work model and ongoing learning opportunities are offered.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of experience in industrial/commercial software development.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Practical experience with AI-native software engineering (LLM integration, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, or using vector databases).
• Experience in designing and optimizing database schemas to support application requirements.
• Proficiency in the C# ecosystem. Solid experience with Golang.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and cloud database services such as Amazon RDS.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and procedures.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Experience with RESTful API, WebSockets.
• Experience with spec-first code generation (OpenAPI, protobuf).
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of basic DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, IaC, Docker, k8s, monitoring & logging tools, automated testing and deployment strategies).
• Strong Linux user skills.
• Communication skills and readiness to work in a team as well as individually.
• Upper intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring code quality, reusability, modularity, maintainability and security.
• Improving performance and scalability of developed software.
• Participation in requirements elicitation, communication with end customers.
• Improving development processes, including refactoring activities.

• Development and clarification of a system and functional requirements.
• Communicate with the representatives of the end customers and with other platform architects developed by the company.

Your mission will be…

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based web applications and microservices using C# and Golang

• Experience with horizontal and vertical scaling technologies for data. Knowledge of methods to optimize database performance with large datasets.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra
• Experience with RESTful API, WebSockets
• Experience with spec-first code generation (openapi, protobuf)
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Knowledge of basic DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, IaC, Docker, k8s, monitoring & logging tools, automated testing and deployment strategies)
• Strong Linux user skills
• Communication skills and readiness to work in a team as well as individually
• Upper intermediate English proficiency

Nice to have skills

:

• Working knowledge of Golang
• Experience with semantic web technologies and graph APIs (SPARQL, GraphQL)
• Understanding of energy and sustainability domain concepts
• Experience with SOAP APIs
• Knowledge and experience with data modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, Erwin, PowerDesigner
