Siemens Mobility is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop and implement the Railways Control Center product. You will join international cross-functional teams, taking end-to-end responsibility from requirements analysis to deployment.

The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot expertise, Angular frontend, and extensive experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD. You will work in a flexible hybrid environment with opportunities for travel, collaboration, and ongoing

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java development and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS/JS.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, Docker, AWS.
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Fluent in English, strong collaboration and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement the Railways Control Center product using modern technologies.

• Engage in development activities including pair programming, code reviews, and analysis.

We are searching for a Senior Java Developer to join our team!

Your Role

• To design, develop and implement our Railways Control Center product based on innovative technologies.
• Work in international x-functional teams taking end-to-end responsibilities in requirements analysis, system design, development, integration, and deployment.
• Development, pair programming, code reviews and analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries.
• Integrate frontend and backend components to build full-stack applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• You will closely work with our multifaceted and agile teams. Business travel may be required.

Your Profile

• University degree or equivalent experience in informatics, computer sciences or a similar.
• 7+ years of experience in Java development and other frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud hosting (AWS).
• Experience with Message Brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and SQL databases.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
