Job summary

CI&T in Lisbon, Portugal seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to design, maintain, and evolve data models powering BI and analytics solutions. You will own the layered dbt model, enabling reliable data consumption across Power BI and downstream apps, while supporting a pricing engine MVP and KPI harmonization across regions.

You will build and optimize analytical data solutions using Databricks and Azure, applying Python where needed for data processing, analysis, and automation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience designing and maintaining layered data models for analytics and BI.
• Experience with Databricks and Python for data processing, analysis, or automation.
• Experience with Power BI data modeling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the layered dbt data model for Power BI and downstream consumers.
• Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using dbt and SQL.
• Extend data models to support the pricing engine MVP and KPI harmonization.
• Build and optimize analytical data solutions using Databricks and Azure.
• Apply Python to support data processing, analysis, and automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into scalable data solutions.
