Job summary

ITDS in Lisbon offers a hybrid opportunity for a Senior AI Systems Engineer to design and deploy scalable, production-grade AI systems for banking and regulated environments. You will oversee end-to-end architecture, from model selection to API deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

You should have 5+ years in software or AI, with at least 2 years deploying LLM/AI systems in production, and strong Python skills (LangChain, Transformers, FastAPI).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy robust AI systems in production for banking/regulatory environments.
• Contribute to end-to-end solution architecture from model selection to API deployment and monitoring.
• Implement MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps with CI/CD, versioning, and model registry management.
• Establish monitoring for drift, latency, cost, and output quality of AI systems.
• Integrate AI Security by Design principles ensuring traceability and auditability.
• Collaborate with data scientists to industrialize AI models and deployment workflows.
• Write comprehensive technical documentation and promote best practices within the team.
