Altium Limited, part of the Renesas Group, seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join its AI initiative in Requirements Management and hardware engineering. The role focuses on building and evaluating real‑world AI applications, designing, developing and deploying LLM‑driven systems used by hardware product teams worldwide, within a product‑led development team.

You will work hands-on on agentic workflows, collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an agile setup, and contribute to the lifecycle from

• Essential: profound knowledge of LLM engineering and production readiness
• Essential: Advanced Python development skills for systems
• Essential: production experience with agentic loops, tool-calling and orchestration
• Essential: experience planning experiments and autonomous task execution
• Essential: ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and ship features to customers

Responsabilidades

• Develop agentic flows using off-the-shelf LLMs and modern harnessing methods
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and designers in an agile environment
• Build evaluation pipelines and metrics to measure AI-driven systems
• Extend test suites and benchmarks for AI systems
• Benchmark models, prompts and approaches for speed, cost and accuracy
• Participate in the full AI product lifecycle from experimentation to deployment
