Pulumi is hiring a senior engineer to build Neo, an autonomous infrastructure agent that plans, executes, and optimizes cloud operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and more. You9ll shape agent orchestration, tool interfaces, and the web experience, collaborating with platform teams to integrate with the CLI, SDKs, and Pulumi Cloud.

This remote-first role welcomes U.S.-based candidates (Pacific Time preferred).

Qualificações

• Experience building production systems using LLMs, including skill design and multi-step orchestration.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills; ability to pick up new environments quickly.
• Demonstrated reliability and safety when AI systems take real actions.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tools.

Responsabilidades

• Build the planning and execution systems for multi-step infra operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes.
• Design tool interfaces enabling semantic understanding of cloud resources and engineering workflows.
• Develop context systems to understand customer infrastructure patterns and usage.
• Create feedback loops and self-correction mechanisms for autonomous operation.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance across migrations, compliance, cost optimization, diagnostics.
• Develop the web interface where Neo operates as a virtual teammate—task assignment, progress visibility, approvals.
• Integrate Neos capabilities into Pulumis MCP Server for agent-to-agent workflows.
• Collaborate with platform teams to integrate agent capabilities into the CLI, SDKs, and Pulumi Cloud.
