Job summary

bunch is hiring a Senior Applied AI Engineer to scale our AI Platform. You will own architecture, evaluation, integration and deployment of agent-powered workflows inside EU data residency rules.

You’ll ship production-grade agents that automate fund-operations tasks and drive measurable improvements in accuracy, latency, and cost. You’ll collaborate with DevX, mentor engineers, and help define patterns for cross-team reuse.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software, with end-to-end ownership of at least one agent or LLM-powered capability.
• Deep experience in orchestration, context engineering, and multi-agent design integrated into a product.
• Proven ability to measure non-deterministic systems, with test cases, regression suites, and human review.
• Strong backend skills in TypeScript and/or Python, plus production-grade observability and cost tuning.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship agents that automate real fund-operations workflows, from prototype to production.
• Develop an evaluation layer with test cases, CI suites, and clear success criteria for agents.
• Own the AI application architecture, including orchestration, tool contracts, and memory.
• Operate in production with versioned rollouts, rate limits, and regional failover within EU data residency.
• Define a platform mindset, improve observability, and mentor other engineers in agent and LLM practices.
