Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Lisbon seeks a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, reporting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will work closely with local and regional stakeholders to drive process improvements and provide accurate financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or finance roles.
• Experience with Portuguese accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Experience in a multinational environment is highly desirable.
• Fluent Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities according to Group reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger and financial statements.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities.
• Prepare VAT, Intrastat, and other regulatory filings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
