Pleo, a fast-growing spend management company, is seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Reporting specialist to strengthen accounting execution, audit management, and monthly consolidated results analysis in a high-growth environment.

You'll leverage AI and automation to redefine modern accounting with IFRS excellence and financial rigor, working across Finance with cross-functional teams to elevate processes and controls.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of IFRS experience in real-world scenarios.
• Experience with consolidated results and variance analysis.
• Audits end-to-end or primary finance contact for auditors.
• Proven use of AI and automation to improve accounting outcomes.
• Ownership mindset with strong judgment in a fast-changing environment.
• Ability to translate complex accounting issues into scalable processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and drive high standards for period close.
• Own the preparation of audit schedules, coordinate responses to requests, and close audit questions efficiently.
• Deep dive into monthly results, flag risks and unusual transactions, and provide decision-ready insights to finance leadership.
• Identify accounting risks and strengthen internal controls to scale processes.
• Actively leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and standardise recurring accounting work.
