• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Knowledge of local accounting laws and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.

Responsabilidades

• Gerir todas as áreas de contabilidade incluindo contas a pagar e a receber, registos gerais e reconciliações bancárias.
• Preparar demonstrações financeiras mensais e anuais.
• Assegurar conformidade com leis fiscais locais.
• Analisar dados financeiros e fornecer recomendações para melhorar a lucratividade e eficiência.

Descrição do cargo Profession Accountant City Almada Portugal We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Almada Portugal As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing financial transactions preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with local regulations The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of accounting including accounts payable and receivable general ledger entries and bank reconciliations Prepare monthly and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial records Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits Train and supervise junior accounting staff Requirements
