RemoteConnect in Almada, Portugal, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage all financial transactions and prepare statements in compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

The role requires proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP, and excellent communication. Salary is 1400$ per month with on-site work in Almada.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Knowledge of local accounting laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of accounting including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.
• Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff.
