PwC Portugal is seeking an Experienced Senior Accountant to lead and deliver accounting and tax compliance projects with high quality standards. You will report to management and clients and mentor junior members of the team.

Fluency in English is required, with additional languages a plus, and you will build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while driving process improvements across the team to shape the future of our practice.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or similar.
• More than 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Experience in team management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate accounting and tax compliance projects with the highest quality and accuracy.
• Report to management and clients, including tax declarations, month-end, and year-end obligations.
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Drive innovation by identifying process improvements and implementing best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and foster their growth and responsibilities.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the PwC team.

The Role

• Lead and coordinate accounting and tax compliance projects, with highest standards of quality and accuracy;
• Report to management and clients, tax declarations, month end reportings and year end obligations;
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders;
• Drive by innovation, identifying processes improvements and implementing best practices across our teams;
• Guide and mentoring junior team members, fostering their growth and responsibilities;
• Actively contribute to the development and growth of our team.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or similar fields;
• More than 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting;
• Critical thinking, autonomy, and a proactive attitude towards responsibility;
• Fluency in English, other languages are a plus;
• Experience in team management.
