The International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) seeks a Project Implementation Officer to support CHIPS JU and IC design services across Europe. The role focuses on industrial engagement and collaboration with SMEs, startups, and policy-driven programmes.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in semiconductor technologies, technical project management, and experience with European funding instruments. This position offers benefits and relocation support, with a 36-month contract.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Semiconductor Technologies, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in semiconductor technologies, technical consulting, or innovation support ecosystems.
• Experience working with SMEs, start-ups, and innovation ecosystems in semiconductor or deep-tech sectors.
• Familiarity with European funding instruments (e.g. Horizon Europe, CHIPS JU, Digital Europe).
• Demonstrated experience in technical project management or key account management.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as point of contact for fabless SMEs and start-ups accessing IC design services at national and European level, supporting them from pre-design through tape-out and ramp-up, including users of EuroCDP advanced services and related funding programs.
• Support SMEs and startups in project definition and scoping, eligibility assessment, proposal preparation and optimisation, and monitoring of advanced services.
• Support users in navigating incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Coordinate interactions between different European Chips initiatives, such as EuroCDP, Chips Competence Centres, Pilot Lines and Design Enablement Teams.
• Contribute to ecosystem activation through outreach, events, stakeholder engagement, and communication activities.
