A Hexa Consulting está a recrutar um Security Operations Analyst para fornecer apoio L1/L2 num ambiente de infraestrutura financeira. Inicialmente, o poste será office-based para integração, com transição para um modelo híbrido após os primeiros meses, com três dias por semana no escritório.

Deverá monitorizar, analisar e proteger serviços críticos, gerir tickets e colaborar com equipas internas para reforçar a segurança. Requer experiência em SOC e inglês avançado.

Qualificações

• Experiência em SOC ou formação técnica em operações de cibersegurança.
• Capacidade de trabalhar em regime de turnos.
• Boa compreensão de gestão de incidentes e priorização de serviços.
• Vontade de aprender novas tecnologias de segurança, infraestrutura e rede.
• Capacidade de comunicar tópicos de segurança de forma clara com stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Responder a alertas de monitorização seguindo processos operacionais e de segurança.
• Analisar e resolver alertas de segurança, pesquisar soluções técnicas e apoiar remediação.
• Gerir mudanças relacionadas à segurança conforme o processo de gestão de alterações.
• Tratar, trackear e coordenar tickets recebidos via canais de suporte operacional.
• Priorizar incidências, dúvidas e tarefas conforme SLAs e impacto de negócio.
• Identificar proativamente questões que afetem disponibilidade, segurança ou fiabilidade.
• Contribuir para melhorias de serviço identificando oportunidades de otimização.
• Participar de projetos, mudanças operacionais e verificações de qualidade pós-implementação.
• Colaborar com equipas internas para enfrentar desafios de segurança de forma estruturada.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to provide L1/L2 technical support within a financial market infrastructure environment. This opportunity focuses on monitoring, analyzing and protecting critical IT services, with participation in a 24/7 shift-based operation supporting secure and reliable market services. For the first six months, this role will be office-based to support onboarding, training and integration with the team. After this initial period, the role will follow a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Respond promptly to monitoring alerts, following defined operational and security processes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot security alerts, research technical solutions and support remediation activities.
• Manage security-related changes in accordance with the applicable change management process.
• Handle, track, review and coordinate tickets received through operational support channels.
• Prioritize incidents, queries and tasks according to service levels and business impact.
• Proactively identify, own and escalation issues that may affect service availability, security or reliability.
• Support service improvements by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and procedures.
• Participate in project work, operational changes and post-implementation quality checks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address information security challenges in a structured and timely manner.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in a Security Operations Center or equivalent technical training in cybersecurity operations.
• Ability to work in a shift-based operational environment supporting critical services.
• Good understanding of incident handling, ticket coordination and service level prioritization.
• Strong willingness to learn new security, infrastructure and network technologies.
• Ability to communicate technical security and networking topics clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset, accountability and capacity to work effectively within a team.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Security monitoring and alert analysis.
• Security monitoring tools such as Darktrace, CrowdStrike or Amazon GuardDuty.
• LAN and WAN network infrastructure.
• TCP/IP, DNS, NTP and routing protocols.
• OSPF, BGP and MPLS.
• Incident management and ticket orchestration.
• Change management processes.
• Service monitoring, troubleshooting and escalation practices.
• Quality assurance after operational or technical changes.

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous exposure to regulated, high-availability or financial services environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices applied to operational security monitoring.
• Experience supporting hosted or multi-client technology environments.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

Base salary range: EUR 19 000 - EUR 25 000 gross/year Total compensation: up to EUR 33 000/year The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
