Vodafone is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist for the Portugal Cyber Secure by Design team. You will contribute to security assessments of Vodafone products and services, provide consultancy, and act as a cyber SME to enable technical teams to deliver strategic projects securely.

You will ensure security controls are implemented and aligned with the global cyber security strategy, while adapting to local market needs and regulations.

Qualificações

• Degree or professional qualification in Technology Security or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing complex Cyber Security projects.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NIST or COBIT standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security assessments of Vodafone products and services.
• Provide security consultancy and network security advisory.
• Act as Cyber SME to enable technical teams on secure projects.

What you’ll do

As aCyber SecuritySpecialist,you’llbeintegratedintothePortugalCyberSecure by DesignTeamandbe responsibleforcontributingtothethreemain areas:SecurityAssessments of Vodafone Products & services,SecurityConsultancyandNetworkSecurityAdvisory.Youwillact as aCyber SME toenabletechnical teams to deliverVodafonestrategicprojectsin a secure manner,focusing oncyberrisk.

You willbe responsibleforensuringthat security controls are effectively implemented, that all processes to support the controls are in place,andthatsupport the global cyber security strategy as well as the local technology strategy implementations.The primary role is to make sure the cyber securitycontrols areadopted andeffectively implemented inall the local market products and systems that you assess.You will follow up onprojectsthroughout their Development Lifecycle, ensuring proper understanding of security requirements,andanalysing, classifying, andprioritisingsecurity risksaccording to the context of the project, contributing tocyber riskbeingmanaged within tolerance.

Youwill report to the Secure by Design team leaderin Portugaland be an active partofthelocal marketCyberSecurityteam.Youwill also have an active roleto support anefficient collaboration with local structures such asNW, Digital & IT, VBTS,Corporate Security, Privacy, Legal, VBU, among others.

Who you are

• Degree, professionalqualificationor relevant experience in Technology Security
• Experience in managing complex Cyber Security Projects
• Experience in Information Security maturity analysis based on international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, COBIT)
• Knowledgeable in the analysis and evaluation of security architectures and solutions
• Deep knowledge of Cyber Security threats and the capability to assess business impact
• Strong Focus on the delivery of security projects contributing to control effectiveness
• Manage Cyber Security Risk in line with Vodafone and local market tolerance
• Understand local security laws and regulations to make sure they are embedded into policy and controls
• Build strong and effective relationships with Cyber team members, local and global and with other technology and business stakeholders
• Fluency in the English language
