Vodafone is seeking a Cyber Solution Engineer (AV & EDR Network Strategist) to shape secure telco and network infrastructure. You’ll lead AV/EDR proofs of concept, evaluate solutions, and work with internal and external partners to embed security tooling within Vodafone’s systems.

The role requires strong DevSecOps mindset and cross-functional collaboration. You will tackle design challenges in constrained environments, align with global standards, and contribute to incident response while

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master degree is required.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with telco and network environments (CNFs, VNFs, PNFs).
• Experience with AV & EDR security solutions.
• Familiarity with security controls, policy design and reporting requirements.
• DevOps mindset with automation and scripting skills.
• Technical understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong communication and ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English.

What you’ll do

Join Vodafone’s Cyber Prevent team and help shape the future of secured telco and network infrastructure. As a Cyber Solution Engineer (AV & EDR Network Strategist), you’ll be at the forefront of designing, evaluating and experimenting with new security AV & EDR solutions to integrate into Vodafone’s vast telco and network infrastructure. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to help create a holistic approach for security tooling in unique environments and embed a DevSecOps approach that proactively reduces cyber risk.

Your mission will be to support and lead AV & EDR Proof of Concepts, evaluating new security solutions and adapting them to telco and network environments. You will tackle design challenges due to environment constraints and ensure alignment with global standards and benchmarks. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across Cyber Strategy, Cyber Defence, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and Risk Management to integrate these AV & EDR security controls and services with our existing processes. You’ll also, contribute to incident response and reporting, and act as a visible ambassador for Vodafone’s Cyber Code and security best practices.

This is a dynamic, high-impact role where your technical leadership and communication skills will help drive meaningful change across Vodafone’s global cloud infrastructure.

Who you are

• Bachelor/Master Degree;
• At least 6 years of professional experience in similar role;
• Hands‑on experience with telco and network environment, such as CNFs, VNFs and PNFs with deep understanding of their uniqueness and challenges;
• Experience with AV & EDR security solutions;
• Familiarity with security controls, their implementation, policy design and reporting requirements;
• A DevOps and risk based approach mindset with strong automation and scripting skills;
• Technical understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights to technical and non‑technical audiences;
• A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration;
• Fluency in English.
