Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial Biotechnology or related field.
• 2–5+ years in cosmetics and/or nutraceutical formulation (academic or industrial).
• Experience developing stable formulations with natural extracts.
• Familiarity with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 and EFSA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise cosmetic ingredient formulations based on seaweed extracts.
• Evaluate efficacy, stability, compatibility, and performance in final products.
• Prototype lab-scale formulations and support scale-up to production.
• Collaborate with extraction, analytical, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance.
• Document procedures, results, and specifications; support regulatory dossiers.
