Elementis PLC. in Porto, Portugal is seeking a lab-based role focused on formulation development and technical support for the Personal Care business.

The position involves developing prototypes, conducting laboratory testing, generating data, and communicating results to support customer projects. A chemistry-related degree with 2+ years of experience and proficiency in English and Portuguese is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science or Chemical Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in formulation development and/or ingredient testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong presentation and project management capabilities.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
• Lab position with on-site work five days a week; willing to travel to trade shows and customer visits.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for new product development is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Work within a team to support customer-focused and internal projects for Personal Care.
• Develop prototypes and conduct laboratory testing, including analytical evaluations and stability studies.
• Generate, record, and communicate technical data and results to support projects and customer requirements.
• Support the evaluation of product performance and application characteristics through formulation preparation and testing.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for internal and customer-focused projects.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and work areas in compliance with quality, safety, and laboratory standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer initiatives.
