Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Seamless Travel Senior Solution Architect in Lisbon to design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions for major European airport customers. You will work with software, network, hardware and cloud teams to ensure 24/7 operational readiness and alignment with Amadeus standards.

You will lead architecture design for secure, scalable cloud/hybrid environments, support pre-sales, and drive security/compliance activities across multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end technical solutions in regulated, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Proven track record as a Solution Architect or similar role.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure or GCP and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Experience with security tooling, IAM, TLS/certificates, OS hardening, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, scripting (Python, shell), Git and Agile.
• Experience with multi-site rollouts and edge device integrations.
• Excellent English communication; willingness to travel.

• Act as Solution Architect for self-service airport projects, designing customer-facing, end-to-end technical and functional solutions.
• Define secure, scalable architectures translating business and operational needs into mission-critical 24/7 environments.
• Design and manage cloud and hybrid infrastructures for airport ecosystems.
• Lead security and compliance activities, including security tooling, penetration testing, and customer security assessments.
• Support pre-sales, deployments, migrations, and upgrades, contributing to RFPs/RFIs and technical estimations.
• Collaborate with global engineering and delivery teams, automating operations and sharing best practices across projects.

Job TitleSeamless Travel Senior Solution ArchitectSummaryThe Seamless Travel Senior Solution Architect will design, tailor, and deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions for major European airport customers within the Seamless Travel division.
