Sofico in Porto, Portugal, invites a Scrum Master to lead Platform delivery teams, focusing on agility, culture, and continuous improvement. You will coach teams, facilitate events, mentor colleagues, and use data to drive velocity and predictability, working with DevOps and platform engineers.

You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to embed Agile principles, nurture high-performing teams, and contribute to a culture of growth and collaboration across the organization.

Qualificações

• 5–7 years Scrum Master hands-on experience.
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams.
• Strong facilitation, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset guiding teams through change.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and cross-functional teams.
• Solid delivery metrics understanding and proficiency with Jira/Confluence.
• Scrum Master certification preferred (PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe).
• Technical savviness with DevOps, cloud or platform teams.

Whatyou’lldo...

• Coach Agile teams to embrace self-organization, shared ownership, and a growth mindset based on trust.
• Facilitate Agile Events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) that are focused, effective, and aligned with delivery outcomes.
• Act as a mentor, supporting their development, sharing knowledge, and helping them navigate challenges within the teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, helping teams inspect, adapt, and refine their processes for greater effectiveness.
• Monitor team performance, identifying trends and opportunities to improve collaboration, velocity, and predictability driven by data (metrics).

What you bring...

• A deep understanding of Agile and Scrum, with 5 to 7 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience
• Experience in coaching and mentoring.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to strengthen alignment and engagement across roles and teams.
• A continuous improvement approach and the ability to guide teams through change and uncertainty.
• Practical experience with different Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and working closely with cross-functional teams.
• A good understanding of delivery metrics and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Scrum Master certification (PSM II, A-CSM, SAFe, or equivalent) preferred.
• Technical Savvy: Experience working with DevOps, cloud, or platform teams. (engineering, devops, IT, ..)
