Elementis Global in Porto, Portugal, seeks a laboratory-focused professional to support Personal Care R&D projects. You will develop prototypes, conduct testing, and generate technical data for customer inquiries. The role requires 2+ years in formulation development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Fluent English and Portuguese are required; you will work on-site five days a week in a lab environment within the Personal Care R&D department.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science or Chemical Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in formulation development and/or ingredient testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong presentation capabilities and project management tools.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• You will work within a team to support customer-focused and internal projects for the Personal Care business.

• You will generate, record, and communicate technical data and experimental results to support project activities and customer requirements. You will support evaluation of product performance and application characteristics through formulation preparation and testing activities.
• You will assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for internal and customer-focused projects.
• You will maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and work areas in compliance with quality, safety, and laboratory standards.
• You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to support business objectives and customer initiatives.

Job Summary

The position will support customer-focused and internal technical projects within the Personal Care business. Responsibilities

• You will work within a team to support customer-focused and internal projects for the Personal Care business.

Position Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Cosmetic Science or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in formulation development and/or ingredient testing.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a strong capability for presentation creation, Project management software. 4.
• Language Skills: Verbal and written fluency in which English and Portuguese.
• Working arrangements: Lab position, on site 5 days weekly.
• Traveling required: Trade shows, customer visits as required.
