Analytichem in Porto is seeking a senior Product Manager for the Lab Essentials portfolio. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the organization to optimize product lifecycle, data analytics, and portfolio strategy.

The role requires 7+ years in product management or related fields, a chemistry/engineering background, and fluency in English and German. Hybrid work and international travel are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or master degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar applied science.
• 7+ years’ experience in customer-facing roles, product management or development.
• Data-driven decision making in ambiguous scenarios.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with instrumentation such as chromatography is highly desired.
• Proficiency in English and German (minimum B2).
• Experience with SAP ERP and HubSpot CRM is desired.

About the Role

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Lab Essentials portfolio. This is a high-impact role that will give you the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.

Role is located in the Porto facility center and reports to the Segment Director Lab Essentials.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize product portfolio based on life cycle, product demand and new product introduction
• Collect and maintain data related to the market, trends, product gaps within portfolio, capability positioning, competitor behavior; enabling data-driven decision-making across the portfolio.
• Serve as product champion and expert with internal collaborators, global marketing, sales teams, quality, production and customers.
• Support product launches, discontinuations, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
• Support harmonization initiatives between entities and manufacturing sites.
• Support sales through the creation of product collateral and training materials. Active participation in the sales process.
• Represent the company at trade shows, webinars, customer visits, and industry events.
• Maintain and improve product master data accuracy across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar applied science required
• 7+ years’ experience in related customer-facing applications, product management or product development & commercialization roles.
• Demonstrated ability to make precise data-driven decisions in ambiguous scenarios.
• Ability to work independently, be highly organized, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Market knowledge, product development experience, analytical chemistry knowledge and experience on instrumentation, such as chromatography or similar is highly desired.
• Excellent command of the English and German language is required (minimum B2 level).
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP), CRM systems (Hubspot) is desired.
