Job summary

Pixida Portugal develops and enhances advanced SCADA and control system solutions for customers in Porto. You will design and implement customer-specific functionalities, build software components and visualization concepts, and ensure reliable operation through troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions and documentation, with emphasis on WinCC OA, OPC UA, and SCRUM-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in one or more OOP languages (C#, C++, or Java).
• Practical knowledge of SCADA technologies (WinCC OA, IEC104, OPC UA, MQTT).
• Familiarity with SCRUM and Azure DevOps.
• Fluent in English.

You will work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions and documentation.

• Perform in-depth troubleshooting to resolve issues in operational environments.
• Create precise and comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in one or more OOP languages (C#, C++, or Java).
• Practical knowledge of SCADA technologies (WinCC OA v 3.XX, Simatic Manager, IEC104, OPC UA, MQTT).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (SCRUM) and tools like Azure DevOps.
• Fluent in English.
