The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Lisbon as needed; Portuguese language skills and 3+ years of SAP VIM experience are required.

At TMC, we are looking for an experienced SAP VIM Consultant to join a new project in the SAP ecosystem.

We are seeking a consultant with a strong functional background in SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and proven experience participating in SAP VIM implementation projects. This opportunity is particularly suited to someone comfortable working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, contributing to the successful delivery of SAP solutions in a client-facing environment.

The project will operate mainly remotely, with availability required to travel to Lisbon whenever necessary for specific project or client needs.

Your Role

As an SAP VIM Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in the implementation and evolution of SAP VIM solutions, working closely with the project team and the client.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Participate actively in SAP VIM implementation projects, from requirements gathering through configuration, testing and delivery;
• Understand and analyse business requirements related to invoice management and processing workflows;
• Translate business needs into suitable SAP VIM functional solutions;
• Support the functional configuration and implementation of SAP VIM;
• Work closely with business users, SAP consultants and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle;
• Support functional testing, validation and resolution of issues identified during implementation;
• Contribute to the definition and optimisation of processes related to invoice management;
• Participate in workshops, meetings and functional discussions with the client;
• Ensure clear documentation and communication of requirements, processes and implemented solutions;
• Act as a reliable point of contact for SAP VIM functional topics within the project;
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration with both the internal project team and client stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Senior SAP Consultant with solid hands‑on experience in SAP VIM and a functional mindset.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP VIM;
• Proven experience participating in SAP VIM implementation projects;
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Vendor Invoice Management;
• Experience working with business requirements and translating them into functional solutions;
• Experience supporting SAP VIM configuration, testing and implementation activities;
• Good understanding of invoice management processes and SAP-related business workflows;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both functional and technical teams;
• Comfortable working directly with client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Nice to Have

The following skills are considered differentiators but are not mandatory:

• Knowledge or professional experience with SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM);
• Knowledge or experience with OpenText solutions;
• Broader experience across the SAP ecosystem and integration with complementary SAP modules or solutions.
