Bauer Media Audio – Portugal is building an SAP Centre of Excellence in Porto and seeking an SAP S/4HANA Access & Authorisation Specialist to join the international tech team.

You will manage user access, roles, and security controls, design role concepts, maintain Fiori access, and support audits and SoD.

This hybrid Porto role collaborates with teams across Portugal, Poland and the UK to optimise licensing and secure SAP landscapes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

This is a unique opportunity to help shape and continuously improve our SAP access management, authorisation, FUE optimisation and security capability across SAP S/4HANA and related applications.

As our SAP S/4HANA Access & Authorisation Specialist, you will act as a key expert for SAP roles, user access, FUE optimisation, security concepts and governance, ensuring users have the right access at the right time while licence usage, risks, compliance requirements and audit expectations are effectively managed.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, technical specialists and external partners to design, maintain and troubleshoot authorisations, improve access processes, optimise FUE usage and support a secure, well-governed SAP landscape. SAP BASIS knowledge will be helpful, but the primary focus of the role is access, authorisations, FUE optimisation and SAP Security.

Your Role

• Managing SAP S/4HANA user access, roles, authorisations and security controls
• Designing, maintaining and improving SAP role concepts in line with governance standards
• Maintaining SAP Fiori roles, catalogues, spaces, pages and access assignments
• Analysing and resolving complex access, authorisation and security-related issues
• Supporting Segregation of Duties (SoD), audit, compliance and access review activities
• Working with business and SAP teams to translate access needs into secure, fit-for-purpose authorisation solutions
• Driving FUE optimisation by analysing user access, licence consumption and role assignments to support efficient SAP usage
• Supporting SAP licensing optimisation through user and access analysis
• Collaborating with technical and business teams across multiple countries to improve access management processes

The Skills You Will Bring

• Strong SAP S/4HANA Authorisations, Access Management and SAP Security experience
• Strong understanding of SAP FUE optimisation, including the ability to analyse licence consumption, user classifications and access patterns
• Hands-on experience with SAP role design, role maintenance and user access provisioning
• SAP Fiori access management experience, including catalogues, spaces, pages and role assignments
• Understanding of governance, compliance, audit and Segregation of Duties principles
• Experience managing and resolving complex SAP access and authorisation issues
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand access requirements and translate them into secure solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working within service management processes
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• English language proficiency at a professional working level

• SAP GRC Access Control experience
• SAP BASIS administration knowledge
• Experience with transports, certificates, system connectivity or other SAP technical operations
• SAP BTP administration knowledge
• International shared services or CoE experience
• German and/or Portuguese communication at professional working level

Working Pattern / Location

This role is based in Porto and follows a hybrid working model: 2-3 days in the office and rest from home. This is a permanent position.
