Job summary

iTRTech Group in Portugal is seeking a Senior SAP QM Techno-Functional Consultant for a hybrid Porto role (1 day onsite per week).

You will combine SAP QM expertise with ABAP/UI5 development to support quality management across manufacturing and SAP module integrations, while collaborating with IT and business partners.

Fluent English and 5+ years of hands-on SAP QM experience are mandatory; R/3 / S/4HANA knowledge and Jira/Confluence skills are highly valued.

About The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SAP QM Techno-Functional Consultant to support quality management processes in a manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with business partners and internal IT teams, combining SAP QM functional expertise with ABAP and UI5 development to deliver solutions, maintain applications and support integration across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise business partners on SAP QM processes and solutions.
• Support the creation of requirement specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with IT standards and guidelines.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications.
• Manage testing and resolve defects during integration testing and hypercare.
• Develop and adapt SAP QM functionalities using ABAP.
• Develop UI5 applications to improve user experience and interfaces.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams on project delivery.
• Handle support tickets, resolve errors and implement minor change requests for standard SAP QM transactions and custom QM programs.

Support Activities Cover The Following Areas

• Quality Systems Enablement.
• Quality Planning and Assurance.
• Quality Complaints and Warranty.
• SAP QM integration with MM, PP, PM and EWM.

Required Experience And Functional Skills

• At least 5 years of proven relevant experience.
• Strong functional knowledge of quality processes in manufacturing environments, including interfaces.
• SAP consulting experience in logistics, particularly within the QM module.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Quality Management configuration.
• Experience implementing cross-functional integrations.

Technical Skills

• SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA.
• ABAP and UI5 development.
• Design and development of custom reports, Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
• Interface and middleware implementation.
• Advanced ABAP debugging and runtime analysis.
• Familiarity with data migration tools.
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Jira and Confluence.

Ideal Profile

A consultant with strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills, able to translate business needs into functional and technical solutions while collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams.
