Job summary

Next Engineering in Porto is seeking a SAP QM Techno-Functional Consultant to drive quality management across manufacturing projects. You will consult, design and implement SAP QM capabilities, integrating with MM/PP/EWM and coordinating with IT guardrails.

You will develop ABAP enhancements and UI5 applications, manage testing and hypercare, and deliver reports and interfaces using SAP tools. Hybrid work model with 1 day/week in the Porto office is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven SAP QM consulting experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP QM processes and cross-functional integration.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA and QM customizing.
• ABAP debugging and runtime analysis; UI5 development experience.
• Experience with reports, forms, interfaces, middleware and data migration tools.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence and MS Office; good communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Consult and support business partners according to SAP QM processes
• Support the creation of requirement specifications and user stories, ensuring alignment with IT guardrails
• Create functional and technical specifications and IT concepts
• Manage testing activities, including integration testing, bug fixing and hypercare
• Provide ABAP development services to customize SAP QM functionalities
• Develop UI5 applications to enhance user experience and interfaces
• Work on IT projects alongside internal IT resources
• Provide ticket support for errors and minor change requests across standard SAP QM transactions and custom QM programs
• Support areas including Quality Systems Enablement, Quality Planning & Assurance, Quality Complaints & Warranty, and QM integration with MM/PP/PM/EWM

YOUR PROFILE:

• Proven experience in SAP QM consulting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Quality Management processes and cross-functional integration
• Experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA, including SAP QM customizing
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, including debugging and runtime analysis, and experience with UI5
• Experience with custom reports, Smart Forms/Adobe Forms, interfaces, middleware and data migration tools
• Good understanding of logistics processes, particularly SAP QM
• Good communication, time management and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office
