Affinity, a Portuguese technology consulting company, seeks an experienced SAP Platform Owner/SAP Service Owner to take ownership of the SAP landscape and drive end-to-end governance. You will lead release cycles, coordinate with multiple suppliers and AMS teams, and ensure continuous service delivery.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, independence, and proactive governance. This position is based in Portugal, with a focus on delivering value across European projects.

Qualificações

• Senior-level experience as SAP Platform Owner or similar role.
• Strong experience in SAP Release Management and governance.
• Experience governing changes across SAP environments.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple suppliers and AMS teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in IT Service Management environments.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of SAP platform and related services to ensure quality and continuity.
• Lead SAP Release Management activities, ensuring planned, controlled releases.
• Establish and maintain the SAP release calendar across teams and suppliers.
• Govern SAP Change Management, ensuring proper assessment and implementation.
• Coordinate activities among suppliers, AMS teams, project teams and stakeholders.
• Monitor SAP platform/performance and report to management and steering committees.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, service quality, processes, and efficiency.

What you need to have/know:

• Senior-level experience as an SAP Platform Owner, SAP Service Owner, or similar role.
• Strong experience in SAP Release Management, including planning, coordination, governance, and controlled release processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Change Management and experience governing changes across SAP environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP platform governance, service ownership, and service delivery.
• Experience designing, establishing, and maintaining release processes and release calendars.
• Experience working in multi-vendor environments, coordinating multiple suppliers and service providers.
• Experience coordinating AMS teams and aligning their activities with projects and wider service management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with management and steering-level stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive activities through to completion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in structured IT Service Management environments.

• Take overall ownership of the SAP platform and related services, ensuring service quality, continuity, and consistent delivery.
• Lead and coordinate SAP Release Management activities, ensuring releases are planned, controlled, and delivered according to agreed processes.
• Establish and maintain the SAP release calendar, coordinating dependencies across different teams, suppliers, and projects.
• Govern SAP Change Management, ensuring changes are properly assessed, planned, coordinated, and implemented.
• Coordinate activities across multiple suppliers, AMS teams, project teams, and other stakeholders within the SAP ecosystem.
• Ensure agreed services are delivered, monitored, and managed according to established standards and best practices.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential impacts across the SAP platform and coordinate the appropriate actions.
• Drive assigned activities independently, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through until completion.
• Monitor and report on SAP platform and service performance, providing clear visibility to management and steering-level stakeholders.
• Support structured collaboration between project, service, AMS, and supplier organizations.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, service quality, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the SAP service landscape.
