Affinity, a Portuguese technology consulting company, is seeking a Senior SAP Platform Owner to take ownership of the SAP landscape and related services, ensuring high availability and alignment with business needs.

You will lead SAP Release Management and SAP Change Management across multi-vendor environments, govern SAP platform delivery, coordinate AMS teams, and drive improvements with stakeholders across projects and services.

Qualificações

• Senior-level experience as SAP Platform Owner, SAP Service Owner, or similar role.
• Strong experience in SAP Release Management, planning, governance and controlled releases.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Change Management across SAP environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP platform governance, service ownership and delivery.
• Experience designing and maintaining release processes and calendars.
• Experience coordinating AMS teams, suppliers, and projects within SAP ecosystems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive activities to completion in ITSM environments.

What you need to have/know:

• Senior-level experience as an SAP Platform Owner, SAP Service Owner, or similar role.
• Strong experience in SAP Release Management, including planning, coordination, governance, and controlled release processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Change Management and experience governing changes across SAP environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP platform governance, service ownership, and service delivery.
• Experience designing, establishing, and maintaining release processes and release calendars.
• Experience working in multi-vendor environments, coordinating multiple suppliers and service providers.
• Experience coordinating AMS teams and aligning their activities with projects and wider service management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with management and steering-level stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive activities through to completion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in structured IT Service Management environments.

What we expect from you:

• Take overall ownership of the SAP platform and related services, ensuring service quality, continuity, and consistent delivery.
• Lead and coordinate SAP Release Management activities, ensuring releases are planned, controlled, and delivered according to agreed processes.
• Establish and maintain the SAP release calendar, coordinating dependencies across different teams, suppliers, and projects.
• Govern SAP Change Management, ensuring changes are properly assessed, planned, coordinated, and implemented.
• Coordinate activities across multiple suppliers, AMS teams, project teams, and other stakeholders within the SAP ecosystem.
• Ensure agreed services are delivered, monitored, and managed according to established standards and best practices.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential impacts across the SAP platform and coordinate the appropriate actions.
• Drive assigned activities independently, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through until completion.
• Monitor and report on SAP platform and service performance, providing clear visibility to management and steering-level stakeholders.
• Support structured collaboration between project, service, AMS, and supplier organizations.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, service quality, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the SAP service landscape.
