Affinity is seeking a Senior SAP Platform Owner to take full ownership of the SAP landscape, ensuring continuity and high service quality across environments. You will drive release management, governance, and collaboration with AMS and suppliers on a global scale from Portugal-based offices.

The role requires extensive SAP governance experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver complex changes with minimal supervision.

Qualificações

• Senior-level experience in SAP Platform Owner, SAP Service Owner, or similar.
• Strong experience in SAP Release Management with planning, governance, and controlled release processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Change Management and governance across SAP environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP platform governance, service ownership, and service delivery.
• Experience designing, establishing, and maintaining release processes and release calendars.
• Experience coordinating across multiple suppliers and AMS teams.

Responsabilidades

• Take overall ownership of the SAP platform and related services.
• Lead and coordinate SAP Release Management activities, ensuring releases are planned and delivered.
• Establish and maintain the SAP release calendar, coordinating dependencies across teams, suppliers, and projects.
• Govern SAP Change Management, ensuring changes are assessed, planned, coordinated, and implemented.
• Coordinate activities across multiple suppliers, AMS teams, project teams, and other stakeholders within the SAP ecosystem.
• Ensure services are delivered, monitored, and managed according to standards and best practices.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and potential impacts across the SAP platform and coordinate actions.
• Drive assigned activities independently with clear ownership and follow-through.
• Monitor and report SAP platform and service performance to management and stakeholders.
• Support collaboration between project, service, AMS, and supplier organizations.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, service quality, processes, and efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the SAP landscape.

What you need to have/know:

• Senior-level experience as an SAP Platform Owner, SAP Service Owner, or similar role.
• Strong experience in SAP Release Management, including planning, coordination, governance, and controlled release processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Change Management and experience governing changes across SAP environments.
• Solid understanding of SAP platform governance, service ownership, and service delivery.
• Experience designing, establishing, and maintaining release processes and release calendars.
• Experience working in multi-vendor environments, coordinating multiple suppliers and service providers.
• Experience coordinating AMS teams and aligning their activities with projects and wider service management processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with management and steering-level stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive activities through to completion.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in structured IT Service Management environments.

• Drive assigned activities independently, ensuring clear ownership and follow-through until completion.
• Monitor and report on SAP platform and service performance, providing clear visibility to management and steering-level stakeholders.
• Support structured collaboration between project, service, AMS, and supplier organizations.
• Identify opportunities to improve governance, service quality, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the SAP service landscape.
