Brenntag is the world leader in chemical distribution, seeking an SAP GTS consultant to model and optimize customs processes and manage project cycles. You will work on SAP GTS, ERP interfaces, and cross-functional teams in a global environment.

The role requires strong ABAP knowledge, multiple SAP modules familiarity (MM/LO/SD/EWM), and solid English communication. You will contribute to global projects and benefit from a structured onboarding and professional development.

Qualificações

• Degree in science/business informatics or comparable qualification with SAP GTS specialization.
• Several years of professional experience in consulting complex SAP GTS environments.
• Good ABAP knowledge and project management experience.
• Good written and spoken English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and model complex business processes and implement in SAP GTS and SAP ERP.
• Design or participate in designing customs processes and advise customs departments.
• Lead SAP projects across the full project lifecycle and take sub-project manager tasks.
• Maintain technical interfaces to external customs systems or service providers.
• Perform 2nd/3rd level support: problem analysis and resolution.
• Implement customizing in SAP GTS and prepare/test changes.
• Create and execute tests; perform debugging and ad-hoc reporting.

Your Role

• Analysis and modeling of complex business processes and subsequent implementation in SAP GTS and SAP ERP
• Designing or participation in designing customs processes and consulting customs departments
• Realization of SAP projects along the entire project cycle as well as take over sub-project manager tasks and participation in Corporate projects
• Technical connection to external customs systems or service providers (Connectivity customs systems)
• Problem analysis and resolution in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Responsible for the implementation of customizing in SAP GTS
• Preparation and execution of tests
• Debugging, creation of ad-hoc reports, minor troubleshooting

Your Profile

• Degree in science/business informatics or a comparable qualification with corresponding additional qualifications in SAP GTS
• Several years of professional experience in consulting complex SAP GTS system environments
• Good customizing, data & process knowledge in SAP GTS and in feeder areas as MM, LO, SD and EWM
• Good ABAP knowledge and experience in project management
• Rudimentary knowledge of customs laws in one or more European countries
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Strong teamwork skills, an analytical mindset and approach, as well as a communicative and independent way of working
