Zusammenfassung

Team.it is seeking a Senior SAP FI Consultant to translate business requirements into SAP FI solutions across GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting in a hybrid Lisbon/Porto setup.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, perform functional analysis, support testing, and ensure tax compliance. Fluent English (minimum B2) and a relevant degree are required, with SAP FI experience and certifications a plus.

• Configure, customize, and maintain SAP FI processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to optimize financial operations and reporting processes.
• Conduct functional analysis, prepare documentation, and support solution design throughout SAP implementation and maintenance projects.
• Support testing activities, issue resolution, user training, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and financial governance policies.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP FI best practices and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

SAP FI Consultant - Is that you?

Location: Lisbon/Porto (Hybrid) Experience Level: Senior Language: English (minimum B2)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and financial requirements and translate them into effective SAP FI solutions.
• Configure, customize, and maintain SAP FI processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to optimize financial operations and reporting processes.
• Conduct functional analysis, prepare documentation, and support solution design throughout SAP implementation and maintenance projects.
• Support testing activities, issue resolution, user training, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and financial governance policies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Management, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience working with SAP FI.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) processes and financial accounting principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Solid understanding of Bank Accounting processes and financial reconciliations.
• Experience with Asset Accounting (AA) configuration and management.
• Knowledge of Tax Configuration and related compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or application maintenance projects.
• Strong background in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Ability to interact directly with stakeholders and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and related transformation projects.
• Experience with FI-CO, FI-MM, and FI-SD integrations.
• SAP Certification in SAP FI.
• Experience participating in international or multi-country SAP finance projects.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, controlling, and accounting best practices.
