Xelerate, a global market leader in chemical and ingredients distribution, is seeking an SAP Enterprise Architect Finance to define and govern the target architecture for the finance and ERP landscape across dozens of countries and hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide.

You will translate business strategy into architecture roadmaps, standards, and investment decisions, and ensure that FI/CO, budgeting, and reporting align with SAP S/4HANA and Clean Core principles while collaborating

Qualificações

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, finance and ERP architecture, SAP consulting or transformation leadership.
• Proven lead SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of FI/CO, budgeting, reporting, and period-end close in S/4HANA.
• Understanding of accounting, controlling, budgeting, and product & margin controlling.
• Experience with global finance templates, harmonization, localization, and rollout.
• Familiar with LeanIX, SAP Cloud ALM, Jira, and Confluence.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

You have the opportunity to join our team and tackle business challenges in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment characterized by close collaboration with business stakeholders.

As an SAP Enterprise Architect Finance, you will define and govern the target architecture for the finance and ERP landscape of a global market leader in chemical and ingredients distribution, operating across dozens of countries and serving hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. You will ensure that finance, controlling, treasury, tax, master data, and reporting capabilities form a coherent, scalable, and secure enterprise solution, as part of an ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation, including an ongoing finance shared service center initiative.

You will translate business strategy into architecture roadmaps, principles, standards, and investment decisions. Working closely with Finance leadership, business process owners, domain and solution architects, project teams, security and data specialists, and implementation partners, you will align designs with enterprise architecture standards, SAP Clean Core principles, and the company’s target architecture.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Finance Architecture Authority: Act as the enterprise architecture authority for Finance across transformation, rollout, and continuous-improvement initiatives. Define target-state architecture, roadmaps, principles, reference architectures, and guardrails for finance and ERP capabilities.
• Design Governance: Govern solution designs across SAP S/4HANA Finance and related domains, ensuring alignment with business strategy, enterprise standards, and Clean Core principles. Facilitate architecture reviews, challenge proposed designs constructively, and elevate decisions affecting enterprise standards or the target architecture.
• Architecture Decisions & Roadmaps: Lead architecture decisions spanning finance processes, data, integrations, reporting, security, and surrounding applications. Assess business demand, design alternatives, dependencies, risks, technical debt, and end-to-end impacts to guide investment and delivery decisions, and partner with Finance leadership and process owners to turn strategic priorities into actionable architecture roadmaps and capability improvements.
• Integration & Landscape Coherence: Ensure coherent integration between SAP S/4HANA Finance and adjacent platforms, including procurement, sales, supply chain, data and analytics, treasury, tax, banking, and external services.
• Architecture Artifacts: Establish and maintain capability maps, process and application landscapes, integration patterns, roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and architecture decision records.
• Delivery Guidance & Standards: Guide solution architects, functional teams, and implementation partners through design, delivery, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management. Promote reuse, standardization, data quality, security, compliance, and sustainable operating models across the Finance & ERP landscape.

Your Skills and Experiences:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, finance and ERP architecture, SAP consulting, transformation delivery, or technology leadership.
• Proven experience defining enterprise architecture and leading complex SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation, implementation, or rollout programs.
• Substantial experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including core Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), budgeting, management reporting, and period-end close processes, and strong knowledge of its dependencies with other SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Deep understanding of accounting, controlling, budgeting, and product & margin controlling, and of how these translate into SAP S/4HANA Finance design, together with master data, reporting, and governance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop target architectures, multi-year roadmaps, architecture principles, and actionable transition plans.
• Experience governing functional and technical designs across multiple domains and resolving complex cross-domain architecture topics.
• Experience applying SAP Clean Core, fit-to-standard, cloud, integration, security, and data-architecture principles.
• Experience designing and governing integrations between SAP S/4HANA and surrounding applications, data platforms, and external services.
• Experience with global finance-template design, harmonization, localization, and rollout in a multinational organization.
• Knowledge of finance data governance, internal controls, auditability, compliance, and regulatory considerations.
• Experience with enterprise architecture and delivery tools such as LeanIX, SAP Cloud ALM, Jira, and Confluence is an advantage.
• Knowledge of BlackLine (period-end close), OneStream (consolidation), Power BI (reporting), OpenText VIM (accounts payable), or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) financial planning is a plus.
• Experience in chemical distribution or a comparable process industry is an advantage.
• Ability to assess design alternatives and communicate strategic, business, risk, and delivery implications clearly to executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to collaborate across countries, functions, and time zones.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project workshops and key delivery activities.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; German is a plus.
