Position

Salesforce Solution Architect

Location

Porto, Portugal – Hybrid: 2 to 3 times per month in the office

Responsibilities

• Define the overall SFCC B2B architecture, including storefront, integrations, data flows, and security model.
• Translate business and B2B commerce requirements into scalable SFCC technical designs.
• Lead solution design for complex B2B features such as account hierarchies, price books, contract pricing, approval workflows, and custom catalogs.
• Design and oversee integration architecture with ERP (SAP), CRM, PIMS, CDB, DAM and more.
• Establish development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and governance models for SFCC projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to SFCC developers and offshore/onshore teams.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, performance optimization, and security guidelines.
• Support cutover, go‑live, and post‑launch stabilization, including performance tuning and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architects.

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience.
• Senior expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B Commerce / SFRA).
• Strong Salesforce platform knowledge: Salesforce B2B Commerce, Salesforce Sales Cloud (Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities), Salesforce APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Deep understanding of OCAPI, SCAPI, integration patterns (event‑driven, API‑led, middleware), authentication and security (OAuth, SSO, roles, permissions).
• Experience with JavaScript, ISML, APIs, performance optimization and caching strategies, CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Architecture documentation skills (solution diagrams, integration blueprints).
• Deep understanding of B2B digital commerce processes (quoting, contract pricing, bulk ordering, reordering, customer‑specific catalogs).
• Experience transforming legacy eCommerce platforms to Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end order lifecycles, from storefront to fulfillment and invoicing.
• Familiarity with automotive industry business models (dealer networks, tiered pricing, spare parts, long product lifecycles) is a strong advantage.
• Experience working in global, multi‑brand, multi‑country commerce environments.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
