Xelerate seeks a seasoned QA leader to own the quality strategy across Salesforce initiatives, including Service Cloud and Sales Cloud, plus custom integrations. You will design CRT frameworks, build Playwright-based automation, and enforce standards while guiding the team through CI/CD integrations and release health monitoring.

With 15+ years in QA and Salesforce expertise, you will mentor a high-performing team and shape testing data strategies, performance, security, and accessibility

You will own quality strategy, test automation, and release quality for a Salesforce ecosystem, leading the design and implementation of Customer Relationship Testing (CRT) frameworks and Playwright-based automation suites. You will have a direct impact on release health, defect prevention, and the maturity of a shift-left quality culture across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom integrations.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Own QA strategy for Salesforce initiatives, including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and custom integrations.
• Lead the design and implementation of Customer Relationship Testing (CRT) frameworks tailored to Salesforce business processes and user journeys.
• Architect and maintain robust Playwright-based end-to-end automation suites for Salesforce UI and Lightning components.
• Define and enforce test automation standards, coding best practices, and reusable test libraries.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Copado) and monitor quality gates and release health metrics.
• Drive test strategy for APIs and integrations using REST/SOAP, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Plan and execute performance, regression, security, and accessibility testing as appropriate.
• Lead defect triage and root-cause analysis, ensuring high-quality delivery with clear SLAs for remediation.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, developers, and release managers to embed quality early in the delivery lifecycle (shift-left).
• Mentor and grow a high-performing QA team, defining individual development plans and hiring profiles.

Your Skills and Experiences:

• Solid, production-proven experience (15+ years) in QA with progressive leadership/management responsibilities, and a proven track record leading a QA function or team.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Salesforce testing approaches and frameworks, including Customer Relationship Testing (CRT) for end-to-end business flows.
• Proven expertise with Playwright for web UI automation, including test automation for Lightning Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce UI patterns.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata model, managed packages, multi-org considerations, and common integration patterns.
• Strong API testing skills (REST, SOAP, GraphQL) with tools such as Postman, Newman, or REST-assured, plus experience with additional automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Jest, Mocha).
• Experience with test data management, synthetic data generation, and environment strategy for Salesforce sandboxes and scratch orgs.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or similar) to develop automation frameworks and utilities.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, OWASP) and observability/reporting tools (Allure, ReportPortal, Splunk, Datadog).
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, Salesforce Administrator/Platform Developer, or CI/CD-specific certifications are a plus.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with an autonomous and problem-solving mindset.
