Job summary

Mozantech in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join an international project focusing on Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. You will own end-to-end development tasks, design solutions, and implement integrations with external systems.

You should have 5+ years of Salesforce development, strong data modeling knowledge, and experience with AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL. The role is hybrid with 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development experience, including Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Strong data modeling knowledge and experience with identity resolution.
• Experience with batch/streaming data ingestion and external connectors (S3, BigQuery).

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join an international project, bringing strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, with a particular focus on Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.

What will you do?

• Take end-to-end ownership of requirements, from design and implementation to unit testing.
• Configure Salesforce solutions in line with business requirements and established standards.
• Develop the code required to implement project interfaces and integrations.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications and other relevant documentation.
• Execute unit tests, analyze defects, implement fixes, and define and review test cases.
• Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and identity resolution processes.
• Develop and optimize marketing automation workflows, dynamic emails, and customer journeys.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with GDPR/CCPA requirements.

What do you need?

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, including Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Data Modeling, including Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), Unified Individual, and Identity Resolution.
• Experience with batch, streaming, and API-based ingestion, as well as external connectors such as Amazon S3 and Google BigQuery.
• Experience with data mapping, Calculated Insights, Transformation Rules, SQL, schema alignment, and data enrichment.
• Hands-on experience with Identity Resolution, Match Rules, Reconciliation Rules, and identity stitching strategies.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, WSProxy, and SQL.
• Practical experience with Email Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
• Understanding of data security, PII protection, consent management, and real-time/event-driven integrations.
• Strong knowledge of automation orchestration, error handling, and performance optimization.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above, both written and spoken.

Nice to have: Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Work model: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office.
