SALESFORCE B2B COMMERCE ARCHITECT (HYBRID PORTO)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid position.

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered.

Work Model: Hybrid (average of 3-4 days per month in the office, subject to business needs).

What You’ll Do

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define the end-to-end Salesforce B2B Commerce architecture using Lightning Web Runtime (LWR), Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Core.
• Design scalable commerce solutions supporting:
  • Account hierarchies
  • Contract pricing
  • Custom product catalogs
  • Approval workflows
  • Complex pricing structures
  • Bulk ordering processes
• Establish secure, scalable, and high-performing storefront architectures.

Enterprise Integrations

• Lead integration architecture leveraging MuleSoft and API-led connectivity principles.
• Design integrations between Salesforce and:
• SAP/ERP platforms
• Product Information Management (PIM) systems
• Order Management Systems (OMS)
• Identity Providers
• Payment Gateways
• Logistics and Fulfillment Platforms

Governance & Technical Leadership

• Conduct architecture and design reviews.
• Define development standards, security best practices, and coding guidelines.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps governance models.
• Mentor developers, technical leads, system integrators, and distributed delivery teams.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, and operational excellence.

Cross-Cloud Enablement

• Ensure seamless integration between:

• Support migration initiatives from legacy eCommerce platforms.

Delivery & Post-Go-Live Support

• Lead cutover and deployment activities.

• 10+ years of professional IT experience.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Commerce Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect.
• Strong background delivering enterprise B2B commerce implementations.
• Experience with global, multi-brand, multi-country commerce environments.
• Proven success leading digital commerce transformation initiatives.
