Six Senses Douro Valley is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead the luxury events and group sales efforts on site in Portugal. The role demands a client-focused mindset and a track record in luxury hospitality, with at least three years in a similar Senior Sales Manager position.

You will review services, products and rates, drive occupancy and revenue, manage VIP arrivals, and develop promotions with the Director of Sales.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Sales Manager role within luxury hospitality.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; valid work eligibility for Portugal.

Responsabilidades

• Support and review services, products and rates to remain relevant with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Support the efficient operation of the Groups and Events department.
• Have thorough knowledge of facilities, rooms, rates, packages, and reservation policies.
• Drive the right business at the right price to achieve occupancy, rate and revenue budgets.
• Ensure an exceptional Group Events experience from reservations to departure, with service recovery as needed.
• Identify prospective customers and set goals for key accounts using historical and market data.
• Assist customers with inquiries and follow up to secure bookings.
• Verify VIP arrivals for priority room assignments and amenities.
• Research competitors and maintain lead trace files.
• Execute Banquet Event Orders for accuracy and quality.
• Develop sales promotions with the Director of Sales.
• Maintain banquet and F&B cost for profitability.
• Implement and maintain documentation, reporting, safety protocols, and service standards.
• Due to location, have your own car to access the property.

Six Senses Douro Valley are currently seeking a experienced Senior Sales Manager to join the team.

If you have the legal right to work in Portugal, speak fluent English and Portuguese, have already 3 years of experience in a similar Sales Manager position within the luxury environment, then come join us!

Below are a few duties you will be expected to do:

• Support and review services, products and rates to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Support the efficient operation of the Groups and Events department.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the property including type of rooms available as well as their location and layout, selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans, credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding.
• Drive the right business at the right price to ensure the property achieves budgeted occupancy, rate and revenue.
• Responsible for an exceptional Group Events experience from reservations to arrival and departure. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests.
• Identify prospective customers and establish goals for key accounts by analyzing historical and other statistical information for market segment, account mix goals, etc.
• Assist customers with all inquiries and do follow up correspondence to ensure booking.
• Verify VIPs daily arrival to ensure priority room assignment and room amenities delivery.
• Research competition for management and maintain trace files for follow-up on leads.
• Responsible for the execution of the Banquet Event Orders for accuracy and quality.
• Develop sales promotion ideas in conjunction with the Director of Sales
• Assist in maintaining banquet, food and beverage cost for highest profit.
• Implement, review and maintain documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards.

Due to our location, it is vital that you have your own car to be able to get to and from the property.
