stow in Ovar, Portugal is seeking a Sales Controlling professional to join HQ’s Controlling team, focusing on PoC reporting, forecasting, and profitability analysis across local Sales entities.

You will consolidate PoC/CCM project valuations, support automated SAP BI forecasting, and contribute to the groupwide Power BI toolbox while ensuring accurate data in SAP ERP. Travel to HQ Belgium or other stow locations is possible.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Finance or Engineering required.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience with ERP (SAP FiCo, SD, MM, PP) is a plus.
• IT minded with BI tools and advanced Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to HQ in Belgium or other stow locations.

Job Description

Based in Ovar, Portugal, you will be part of HQ’s Controlling team, focusing primarily on Sales Controlling, closely collaborating with the other HQ Sales Controllers and the local Finance teams.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Project PoC (Percentage of Completion) reporting:
  • Validate monthly SAP ERP/BI extractions for project valuation
  • Perform sanity checks on project data and pro-actively correct
  • Distribute and support the valuation to be performed in local Sales entities
  • Consolidate and interpret PoC valuation
  • Further develop inhouse automation tools
• Project Forecasting / backlog:
  • Validate monthly SAP ERP/BI extractions for project forecasting (CCM + PoC)
  • Perform sanity checks on forecast data
  • Distribute and support the forecasting to be performed in local Sales entities
  • Consolidate and interpret forecasting/backlog valuation
  • Support group wide transition to automated SAP BI Forecasting
• Analyse monthly local and group results:
  • Identify drivers for topline and margin losses versus budget / rolling forecast
  • Ability to deep dive into individual PoC + CCM projects
  • Link purchasing / production impacts with projects and entities
  • Further develop inhouse controlling tools (SAP BI, Power query, etc.)
• Execute specific Sales Controlling activities, such as linking of projects, calculation of bonusses, kickbacks, etc., together with HQ Sales Controlling colleagues
• Support management of groupwide Sales Controlling Power BI tool:
  • Verify monthly SAP BI data runs (mapping, logic, etc.)
  • Manage links between dashboarding & ERP source data
  • Identify opportunities to improve & elaborate
  • Ad hoc analysis on request of local or central management
