Bosch Group is seeking a DevOps Software Developer for RTA-Car Communication in Portalegre, Portugal. You will join an agile, international engineering team to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, drive automation, and optimize engineering processes.

Responsibilities include automating build, test, and deployment, ensuring pipeline reliability and security, and collaborating across global teams to achieve product goals. English communication is essential.

Qualificações

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Responsabilidades

Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate build, integration, testing, and deployment processes.
Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and security of CI/CD pipelines supporting development and operations.
Analyze existing development workflows and engineering processes, identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with software developers, Product Owners, operations teams, and international colleagues to align tooling and processes with product goals.
Implement and promote Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, tooling, build, and deployment issues to ensure stable development environments.
Contribute to software quality and delivery efficiency through peer reviews and automation expertise.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big: Join an agile and international engineering team developing communication solutions for next-generation automotive systems. As a Dev Ops Software Developer, you will play a key role in improving the software development lifecycle by designing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, driving automation initiatives, and optimizing engineering processes. Working closely with software developers, Product Owners, and global teams, you will help ensure reliable, efficient, and high-quality software delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Dev Ops best practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, integration, testing, and deployment processes.
Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and security of CI/CD pipelines supporting both development and operational requirements.
Analyze existing development workflows and engineering processes, identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with software developers, Product Owners, operations teams, and international colleagues to align tooling and processes with product goals.
Implement and promote Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Dev Ops best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, tooling, build, and deployment issues, ensuring stable and efficient development environments.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Experience / Know-how Mandatory Skills

Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Dev Ops and automation tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Python.
Solid understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Dev Ops principles.
Experience with build, test, deployment, and release automation.
Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working in Agile development environments, preferably Scrum.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving build, deployment, and integration issues.
Familiarity with version control systems, branching strategies, and code quality best practices.
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
