Cross Border Talents is seeking a Russian & English-speaking Language Specialist for remote interpretation services in Portugal. You will provide professional over-the-phone and video interpretation to support customers in various sectors and ensure clear communication.

The role requires bilingual Russian and English at C1 level, strong listening skills, and the ability to stay calm in sensitive situations. Training is provided, with equipment and home-office setup included.

About the Role

We are looking for a Russian & English-speaking Language Specialist to join an international team in Portugal. You will provide professional over-the-phone and video interpretation for a leading global language services provider, helping organizations communicate accurately with their Russian-speaking customers, patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional interpretation between Russian and English via phone and video
• Interpret in specialized fields such as insurance, legal and medical (general and forensic) settings
• Convey the message accurately and completely, in a neutral and professional manner
• Handle technical terminology and sensitive conversations with discretion
• Work from home with the equipment provided

Requirements

• C1 level Russian and English (bilingual)
• Strong listening, accuracy and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional in sensitive situations
• Interpreting, translation or customer support experience is an advantage
• Stable internet connection (cable connection, no Wi-Fi) if working from a private apartment
• Willingness to relocate to Portugal
