Cross Border Talents seeks a Remote Interpretation Agent fluent in Russian and English to join its 24/7 team. You will provide real-time interpretation via phone and video, supporting healthcare, legal, and insurance conversations from home across continental Portugal.

Requirements include Russian C2, English C1, a stable Ethernet connection, and availability for weekend/holiday shifts. Training lasts three weeks, is paid, and may lead to permanent employment.

Qualificações

Are you passionate about bridging language barriers and facilitating clear communication in critical fields such as healthcare, legal, and insurance services? We are looking for fluent Russian and English speakers to join a remote interpreting team supporting sensitive and technical conversations across various industries.

As a Russian and English Interpreter, you will provide professional interpretation via phone and video channels. Your role is vital in ensuring accurate and culturally sensitive communication between Russian-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals. This is a 24/7 rotational shift position requiring C1 proficiency in English and C2+ fluency in spoken and written Russian.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time consecutive interpretation in Russian and English
• Support communication in sectors including healthcare, legal, and insurance
• Accurately convey meaning, tone, and context in both languages
• Handle calls with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
• Work effectively with remote technology in a virtual setting

Training Program:

Duration: 3 weeks, full-time (Monday to Friday)

Language: Conducted in English

Topics covered include interpretation standards, client protocols, software use, and industry-specific terminology

Successful completion leads to an employment contract

Training is compensated

Job Type and Work Conditions:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Rotating 8-hour shifts (24/7 operation), includes weekends and nights

Remote work from anywhere in continental Portugal

Equipment provided: Mini PC, monitor, headset, webcam, keyboard, mouse, and accessories

Stable wired internet connection required (no Wi-Fi allowed)

Requirements:

• Fluency in spoken and written Russian (C2 minimum)
• Excellent command of English (C1 minimum) in speaking and writing
• High-speed internet connection via Ethernet (minimum 12 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays
• Residence anywhere within continental Portugal
• Valid EU ID or a Portuguese residence permit or a temporary protection certificate

• Competitive monthly salary
