Pkrecruiting seeks a Russian↔English translator to render accurate translations from Russian to English, preserving nuance, tone and style. You will follow client instructions, managing conversation flow with an emphasis on accuracy and neutrality.

The role requires C1 proficiency in Russian and English, a mandatory High School Diploma, and optional linguistic education. EU citizenship or Portuguese work permit is needed for this remote-position in Portugal.

Qualificações

• C1 Russian language level, both oral and written, and C1 English.
• High School Diploma mandatory.
• Education in languages/translation/interpretation or related fields is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Render correct concepts and meanings between Russian and English, maintaining complexity, clarity, tone and style.
• Follow customers' instructions and manage the flow of the call.
• Understand protocol and terminology at the customer service level in Insurance, Legal and Medicine domains.

Join our client’s full work from home Russian-speaking Team in Portugal and provide excellent Russian to English translations. You require EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit for this role. Your Role Render correct concepts and meanings between Russian and English following complexity, clarity, tone, and style from one language into another Uphold the correct rules for grammar and syntax in both languages Provide strict renditions of the messages including every detail of the conversation Follow instructions of customers, manage the flow of the call and avoid taking over the call Understand protocol and terminology at the customer service level in the following industries: Insurance, Legal, Medicine (General and Forensic)

Your Qualifications C1 Russian language level, both oral and written, as well as C1 English High School Diploma (mandatory) Education in languages/translation/interpretation or related fields will be considered as an advantage Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and always remain neutral and objective Reliable, autonomous and highly disciplined Confident and organized Time management skills with maximum responsibility Ability to work with performance goals
