Uma empresa de consultoria tecnológica em Lisboa está procurando um Desenvolvedor Ruby on Rails para projetar e manter APIs RESTful, integrar processamento de tarefas em segundo plano e trabalhar com bancos de dados PostgreSQL. Espera-se que o candidato tenha mais de 4 anos de experiência com Ruby on Rails, proficiência em Next.js e React, além de fluência em Português e Inglês. O trabalho é híbrido, oferecendo um ambiente tecnológico atraente e oportunidades de progressão na carreira.

Qualificações

• 4+ anos de experiência com Ruby on Rails, focando em desenvolvimento de APIs.
• Experiência com Next.js e React para construção de aplicações web responsivas.
• Familiaridade com Kafka e Sidekiq para processamento de tarefas em segundo plano.
• Proficiência em PostgreSQL, incluindo design de banco de dados e otimização de consultas.
• Compreensão sólida de HTML, CSS e melhores práticas de frontend modernas.
• Experiência com Docker para gerenciamento de ambientes e containerização.
• Proficiente em Git para controle de versão e colaboração.
• Proficiência em Português e Inglês em nível profissional (mínimo B2).
• Residindo em Portugal e disponível para trabalhar em um modelo híbrido.

Responsabilidades

• Projetar, desenvolver e manter APIs RESTful usando Ruby on Rails.
• Integrar e gerenciar processamento em segundo plano com Kafka e Sidekiq.
• Trabalhar com PostgreSQL para design de banco de dados, consultas e otimização.
• Desenvolver interfaces de usuário dinâmicas e responsivas usando Next.js e React.
• Escrever código HTML e CSS limpo e manutenível.
• Containerizar aplicações usando Docker.
• Participar de processos ágeis de desenvolvimento.

Join our team as a Ruby on Rails Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Integrate and manage background processing with Kafka and Sidekiq.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database design, queries, and optimization.
• Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using Next.js and React.
• Write clean and maintainable HTML and CSS code.
• Containerize applications using Docker for consistent development and deployment environments.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, with a focus on API development.
• Experience with Next.js and React for building modern, responsive web applications.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Sidekiq for background job processing.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend best practices.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and environment management.
• Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration.
• Portuguese and English proficiency at a professional level (minimum B2).
• Living in Portugal and available to work in a hybrid model.
