Job summary

Gts Group Ltd is seeking a Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal, to develop and deploy advanced vision models for a robotics platform. You will lead the full ML lifecycle—from data collection and training to deployment and monitoring—ensuring reliable operation in dynamic field environments.

You will train and validate models for object detection and segmentation, manage data labeling and deployment, and build robust ML pipelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in ML, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in computer vision, machine learning and deep learning.
• Strong Python skills; experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch and OpenCV.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and validate deep learning models for object detection and segmentation.
• Manage end-to-end ML lifecycle from data collection to deployment and monitoring.
• Build and maintain ML Ops pipelines for versioning, CI/CD, and retraining.
• Integrate models with robotic platforms and optimize for real-world performance.
• Collaborate on camera and lighting system setup to maintain accuracy in varying conditions.
• Automate workflows for model development, testing, and deployment.
• Handle large-scale datasets with reproducibility in mind.
