Job summary

ISR-UC in Portugal invites applications for a Laboratory Technician in the Perceptual and Cognitive Systems area. The role supports research activities, prepares documentation and contributes to ARISE projects.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (or related areas).
• Adequate knowledge of programming in C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Support development based on the usual frameworks OpenCV, ROS2.
• Support the construction of “Docker Containers” for ML tasks.
• Maintaining the (updated) repository of software necessary for the operation and use of existing equipment at ISR-UC.
• Supporting the development, maintenance and operation of demonstrators.
• Installing and updating systems (hardware and software).
• Participating in the preparation of documentation.
